Hillary in the news...
"I believe our government can once again work for all Americans. It can promote the great American tradition of opportunity for all and special privileges for none."
I wonder what the new flag will look like...

Solutions...
It was pointed out to me that I spend a lot of time on here whining and complaining about the things I see around me without offering my opinion of the solutions to those problems. I guess they seem so obvious to me that I don't take the time to explain how I would get from where we are to where we're going.
The first thing we have to do is secure our borders. You wouldn't build a multi-million dollar mansion and not put a front door on it, but that's exactly what we've done with our country. We have the greatest country in the world and we just leave the door off, so anyone in the world can just walk in and have their way with the place. Not only do we let them in, we pay them to do it. How dumb would you look if you were in your multi-million dollar mansion, some homeless guy walks in your front door, you hand him $100, cook his meals, cloth him, pay for all the utilities, and when he leaves after a couple years carrying an arm full of your possessions you thank him for saving you two bucks on your lawn. That is exactly what we are doing. Good fences make good neighbors.
Once we get the locks on the doors, then we can work on cleaning the rats out of our cabinets. Anyone who is not a citizen of this country needs to get out. The last estimate I heard was that twelve million illegal boarder crossing burglars are in our country, the real number is probably closer to twenty million. Our government tells us they can't deport them all, but that's an outright lie. If we can ship 200,000 troops with all their gear and vehicles half way around the world in a few months, I'm sure there's a simple solution tossing out a few million “undocumented workers”. If nothing else, hire them to build the fence, then when the fence is done, hand them a bill from the IRS, walk them at gunpoint to the other side. They're here to be cheap labor after all, there's your guest worker program in action.
While we're cleaning up, we can implement the next step in my plan, which is to get rid of all the socialist programs we've burdened the taxpayers with. No where in the Constitution does it say the federal government's job is to take money from one group of people at gunpoint and give it to another group of people. If there are people who actually need assistance, they can get it from family, friends, and neighbors. Once the social programs are gone, and we're done standing on bridges waiting for big brother to come save us, we'll have to learn to be responsible for ourselves and our community. The churches can repay two hundred years of not having to pay taxes, by organizing America's good will toward our fellow man. How much better would we all feel about helping someone out, if we could make the decision on our own to do it, instead of having the IRS collect our charity from our paychecks?
Remember all those “jobs that Americans won't do” that we needed all those illegal aliens for? I know a bunch of government workers and ex-welfare recipients who are going to need those jobs. By dumping half the budget, we can cut taxes in half, and once you lower the tax burden on our economy, our businesses will once again become competitive in the world market. Instead of sending all our wages to China so they can supply us with throw away products, we'll be paying our own population to make the things we buy. We'll do it cleaner, faster, and better than the rest of the world because we'll have to in order to compete with other American companies. We'll then be in a position to export our surpluses to the rest of the world.
With the increased security and the positive business environment, we'll be in a position to implement a guest worker program of some kind or increase the number of immigrants we allow to become American citizens, but this time it will be on our terms with our rules. One of the rules should be that the person wanting to come here will have to maintain employment. We can control minimum wages by the amount of people in our country. We get too much labor (driving the prices down) we ship back the “guests”. It's simple supply and demand.
Now that we've straightened out our economy, and the immediate threat of terrorists walking into our nation, we can work on some of the problems at home. I don't have a problem with public schools in general, the problem comes from the teacher's unions, and the way we allocate money. First, the money we pay for public education needs to follow the child, and the parents should be free to put their kids in the school that does the best job of educating their kids. The only thing left to do is pay teachers on merit, good teachers should earn more money than average teachers, and poor teachers should find another career. Kids that fail to meet the standards for behavior need to be held responsible for their poor performance with real consequences like being held back a grade, mandatory summer school, or some other real consequence. Peer pressure works, let's use it to our advantage. A similar situation is already in place in our universities, and students from all over the world come here for an American education.
The last thing we need to do is put a bunch of lawyers out of work. We've already got a good start on that project by eliminating half the federal government (and probably two thirds of the laws), but we need to take it a step further and make our court system “loser pays”. This means if you sue someone because you spill a cup of coffee in your lap, and you lose, you not only have to pay your lawyer, but you'll also be responsible for the winner's defense, and the court costs. If that doesn't eliminate all the warning labels on products, we can also put a limit on the amount of damages that can be paid. No more free rides for dumb people. We need to let natural selection do a little work on the human race.
So what have we done? Well, we've provided for our security, removed parasites, improved our productivity, and invested in our future. We've streamlined the government, put in place an environment to educate our children, and put a bunch of ambulance chasers out of business. I think we've got a pretty good start.

The pickle...
I'm in quite a mental pickle here lately. I feel almost conflicted about my intent, like I'm living two lives. I'm working hard positioning myself for the future. I'm invested in long term projects at work and in my personal life. There are things I've done that I can't possibly reap rewards from for five or ten years, and to top it all off, I even got a new puppy that I will be responsible for well into my forties.
The other half of me has been watching the country slip into complacency. We live in a representative republic, that is run like a democracy. Our representatives on a daily basis stick their finger in the air and see which way the wind is blowing so they know how to vote. The net result is the mainstream media has become the most powerful branch in our government. I can hear it now, “but Torqued, the media isn't a branch of the government”, and that is true in a literal sense. Consider this though, the media has only to sensationalize an issue, enrage people's emotions about a topic, and the polls change. The politicians, check the polls and determine which side of an issue they better stand on to best insure their reelection. The silent majority gets out polled by the noisy minority.
Let's look at the issue of immigration, there are 300 million people in this country, 100 million classified as minorities. I can think of no reason the majority of 300 million people would want to pay twice as much tax so that a group of people could come in and take their jobs, commit crimes against them, clog up their roads, and bankrupt their emergency rooms. If you asked anyone on the street if they wanted a new government program where every citizen would have to pay for someone else's health care, food, and housing, I think the overwhelming answer would be a loud “Hell NO!”. Now throw in the mix that the person they are paying benefits for also takes their job, robs their house, and wrecks their car with no repercussions, and how many of that 300 million would vote for a program like that??
There are several groups of people who would support that plan. Socialists and communists are at the head of the line, taking from the rich and giving to the poor, and requiring their subjects to rely on the government for everything from health care to food. Today our representatives feel that the people they represent want a program just like that. So does that mean we are being governed by legislature and President who are socialists and communists?? On the surface it appears that way, but what is really happening is our media is full of socialists and communists, and they are structuring their reporting to cause our representatives to vote us out of freedom. Nope, common sense no longer runs America, instead we do as we're told, we get passionate about the things the media tells us to, and we pay tax on taxes so we can import poverty from a third world country.
Oh, but the media is not the only bad guy in this tale. In almost any mystery the best way to find the source of a problem is to follow the money. So if we let dollar signs lead us to who benefits from allowing millions of illegal immigrants into this country there is another short list of people who also gain from the fresh meat. The liberal talk show hosts claim it's “big business” who has the most to gain, the pseudo conservative talk shows all claim the Democrats want amnesty for a new class of voters who will most likely vote Democrat. Big business is a possibility, but they are also the same group who pays the largest chunk to the government. Property taxes pay for the increased load on the schools, increased health care premiums pay for people without health care, and federal taxes pay for the rest of the cost of the working poor. They may save a buck on wages, but they then give those savings to the government in the form of taxes. If big business is using illegals to increase profits, it's a short sighted strategy at best.
The Democrats might be behind the big push, but let's be honest, they are just puppets for the unions. Plus, most of them are only really concerned with what affects them. Coming up with and implementing a plan this large while keeping the American public from figuring it all out takes more thought and planning than most politicians are capable of. Remember, these are the people who flip flop on some pretty basic issues daily. The truth of the matter is, our best and brightest aren't the people who run for office.
Following that train of thought, a good place to look might be at the unions themselves. The teacher's union probably has the most to gain. Increases in students means increases in teachers, which leads to larger unions and more dues coming in. The labor unions have priced themselves out of many markets (automobiles, steel, meat packing, etc...) an influx of cheaper labor would allow them the adjustment in the market they need to bring back their popularity and the power they crave. The unions themselves don't pay any real taxes or benefits, so there isn't much of a downside.
There is one other group who would stand to benefit financially from a large migration from Mexico without having an increased tax burden, and that is organized religion. Let's see, Christianity in this country has taken some pretty big hits in the last couple decades. The Atheists have done better job of twisting the meaning of the first amendment from freedom of religion, to separation of church and state than the Christians have done defending their right to their religion. Add in the scandals with the televangelists shaking down the elderly, the child molester priests, and the Pope insulting (and then backing down from) the Muslims, and you've got a group on the ropes getting pummeled. The fastest way to gain a bunch of ground in this country would be for them to import a group of ready made church goers. If you toss in the fact that Christians are being out bred by Muslims in every developed country, the anti-birth control Hispanics are a perfect fix for the church. The icing on the cake is by forcing the middle class in this country to subsidize an increasing welfare population, more of them fall back to religion for support and hope. It's a winning situation all the way around.
I know, you're going to ask me how the church can push this issue in the government with the separation of church and state. Well that's easy, the church enacts legislation just like the media. They hop up on their soapbox and preach hot button issues that will cause the fence walkers in their flock to vote the way they want them to vote. It's really that easy, when you want a republican voted in, you bring the pro-life movement to the surface, and when you need a democrat put in place you bring up the less fortunate who need help to keep from starving.
Why did I drag all these people through the political mud? Mostly just to prove the point that we are all guilty of electing liars and crooks into office for our own selfish reasons. We are leading ourselves down a path that none of us would follow if we were independent thinkers.
What few have seen and even fewer have spoke of is the balance of a democracy. The turning point in every democracy is when more than half of the population is dependent on the government for their survival. All that is left to happen is for the majority to figure out that they can vote themselves more money and benefits from the minority that actually create wealth, effectively turning them into slaves. Big government and social services are the equivalent of parasites feeding on a capitalist animal. When the parasitic load becomes to great for the animal to overcome, the animal dies. In the case of the United States, when you kill the capitalist animal, you effectively kill the republic.
History has a habit of repeating itself, and I do believe in the near future the parasites of this country will put such a burden on the people creating wealth for the country that we will be left with only one choice. The founding fathers wrote in the Declaration of Independence: “Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”
Yep, we're talking about a revolution, another tax revolution to be exact. When the people who pay taxes feel like they don't have a voice in their government (taxation without representation), the revolution will begin. The balance of democracy has been reached, and if an amnesty program is allowed to pass we'll be headed down that slope at a much faster clip as the politicians buy votes with our treasury.
This leads me right back to my pickle. I'm living my life planning for what has been the norm in America for the last one hundred years or so, all the while I can see the roadblock and the right turn that takes this country down a different path. I'm left here conflicted. Hoping my senses are off, my view of the world twisted, and my logic flawed. I feel like an ostrich with his head in the sand, hiding from what I see as the inevitable conclusion to the American dream. I can see flashbacks of my childhood trying to explain to my mother, “but mom, everyone else was doing it” and her response of, “if everyone jumped off a cliff would you do that too?”.
I guess I would...

Dear President Bush...
I voted for you in 2000 because I felt you represented people like myself better than Mr. Gore. I still believe I was right about that. In 2001 when the World Trade Center Towers fell you told the public that we were going to fight the terrorists. I supported (and still support) the idea of fighting (rather than surrendering to) the people who attack this country. The truth of the matter is, America has lost the will to be a free country.
We are being invaded by Mexico, and the United States government has surrendered without a shot being fired. These people are criminals in our country pillaging the citizens at will. I am terrorized every day on the streets of America worrying about being in a car accident with an illegal who not only doesn't have a driver's license, but isn't required to have insurance on his vehicle. They terrorize the people around me by taking jobs at less than the going rate, and making up the difference by using welfare programs paid for with tax dollars, paid by the people they took the jobs from. If I didn't pay my taxes, the Government you are the head of would do everything in their power to punish me, but if a Mexican national illegally crosses our border, illegally takes our jobs, illegally votes in our elections, and illegally breaks the laws the citizens of this country have to follow, you do nothing. Please explain to me why we can't secure our borders and deport the people who have invaded our country? You made a promise to fight the terrorists, please be a man of your word and fight the people who terrorize the citizens of this country everyday.
"I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Remember those words you spoke with your hand on a bible? You swore an oath to God and all of the citizens of the United States of America to “protect and defend the Constitution of the United States”.
“We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
If we are unable to enforce the laws we have now, how do you expect any thinking American to believe that the US Government can and will enforce your “comprehensive immigration reform”? We all know this is just another pacifier in the mouths of the American public placed there by people without enough spine to do the right thing. If you really cared about America, you'd ship the criminals back to their own country, and force their President to do something to help his own people instead of passing his problems to us.
Sincerely,

A country united...
Even though it seems most have forgotten, September 11th 2001 happened. On that day the enemy of freedom used the foundation of our society as a weapon against us. Those Islamic terrorists came to the land of opportunity and blended into our towns and suburbs. They had cars, jobs, and homes and even appeared to be chasing the American dream by taking flying lessons. They took advantage of our generosity and trust.
Shortly after the World Trade Center buildings fell, our lawmakers were dedicated to the task of crushing the enemy of the American way. They drafted resolutions for war with overwhelming support from both sides of the isle. They used the media to convey our intent to dismantle any country or group who harbors or supports terrorism. The American public got on board and called a truce in the war on ourselves. For a brief moment blacks, whites, Hispanics, republicans, democrats, Christians, Jews, Atheists, gays and straights were all on one team. The American flag was proudly flown on businesses and homes all over the country, and there was an overwhelming sense of Patriotism everywhere you went. For once in my lifetime America was united.
The unity born of that tragedy was aborted by some of the same politicians who led in the delivery of it's birth. With the next election approaching, the democrats figured out that a country united under a republican commander in chief was not going to be open to a change of the status quo. In order to win back power, they needed the old America back. As the troops headed out to fight the enemy of America, the politicians spent their time turning Americans into enemies again. They rolled out their media army and fought battles with stories of racism and class warfare. As the Presidential election approached, they instituted a troop surge and used the lack of WMD's in Iraq to mark President Bush as a liar. This opened the door for them to back out of their vote for the war in Iraq, and become invested in our defeat.
The next election cycle provided the victory they craved in the war. The American people, blinded by the fog of war at home, desired a change and voted in a democrat congress. All the dem's counterintelligence and misinformation had proven the weapon needed to thoroughly defeat patriotism and unity in America.
So where does that leave us today? The democrats have become allies of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda against the “evil” republicans. They've given aid and comfort to the enemies of America, by telling them our resolve is fading, we can't handle the casualties, and we'd rather cut and run than stand in Iraq and fight.
Oh, I know, they claim they support the troops (just not the war), but let's look at their actions. Instead of supporting our troops by telling the enemy we are coming to get you, and we won't stop until you're all dead, they say “the war is lost”. Instead of standing in support of the victims of September 11th by they insist the commander in chief of the armed forces is the enemy. Instead of standing by the decisions our troops make in the field under duress, they put them on trial and drag them through the media. Instead of providing the funding our troops need to keep up the fight, they sent a bill to the President that not only forces our troops to surrender, but they added so much pork to it that I'm surprised they didn't have to get a wide load permit to take it down the hall.
I suppose I should be in shock over this whole situation, but I'm not. I know that in America we buy big four wheel drive vehicles that never get off the pavement, we buy motorcycles that will go 200mph that we never drive above 80, and we buy dogs bred for hunting that we never let out of the backyard. So it's really no surprise to me that when we have the most capable armed forces on the face of earth, we make them surrender.
Both political parties in this country are the equivalent of ordinary street magicians, one distracts you with fancy hand gestures while the other steals your wallet, and as long as they pull a rabbit out of the hat, we keep getting in line for the show.

In the news today....
PARIS (Reuters) - Socialist opponent Segolene Royal said on Friday that France risks violence and brutality if her opponent right-winger Nicolas Sarkozy wins Sunday's presidential election."
Let's see, you're Segolene Royal and running for President of France. Your opponent Nicholas Sarkozy is beating you by 10 points in the polls, what do you do??
Segolene thought for a minute and came up with, "Well he is French, maybe if I threaten him, he'll surrender". Priceless...
Oh and she's knows it's a good bluff because the people she claims would riot if she didn't win, are the same Islamic youths who raped, burned, and pillaged the French suburbs unchecked for a large chunk of 2005. The same people the current French government was helpless to defend against because they were too entrenched in political correctness to identify the criminals as Islamic youths involved in terrorist acts.
Man am I glad John F'ing Kerry and his weirdo French sympathizer wife didn't win the Presidential election of 2004, they'd have us surrendering to Jamaica by now...
Torqued on Golf...
The game of Golf is something I can't quite put my finger on. It's a sport (is it called a sport?) where a bunch of people with too much time on their hands chase a little white ball around a pasture. The landscape is completely man made with little beaches and some oddly shaped ponds to add a “natural” look. It's a true gentleman's activity where you have a dress code, and when someone else is swinging at their ball (that they place on a little pedestal so it's easier to hit) everyone has to be quiet. Winning the game is determined by who gets the lowest score.
The game itself is pretty anti American if you think about it. A bunch of rich guys driving SUVs around what used to be a perfectly good wildlife sanctuary. The greens keeper uses enough chemicals on the grass to turn the water in the ponds a nice shade of swimming pool blue. There's no heckling allowed, and if someone messes up you give them a mulligan. Where's the outcry from the envirowhackos and the bunny huggers? On top of all that who can get behind a game where if you run the score up you lose.
Compare that to the other sports played in this great country, and you'll see fans hollering and waiving distracting objects while a player is shooting a free throw, or attempting to make the game winning field goal. We even teach little leaguers to call out “hey batter batter SWING!!” while the other teams batter is attempting to hit the ball. In America we're pretty much about providing some opposition to our competition, we like our fans loud, and our scores high.
....BUT the blue bloods have some competition. No more goofy plaid pants, funny looking bags and little white balls (no pun intended). Nope, the new snob sport is Disc Golf. The only correlation between the new game and the old is that the goal is still to get the lowest score. The game is played at your public park, instead of a private club. They use Frisbees instead of balls, and instead of the goal being to “get it in the hole”, they throw at some kind of modern art masterpiece made of chain that looks somewhat like an industrial trash can without the can.
Not only is there no dress code in disc golf, but if you're wearing anything more than a wife beater, some cut off jeans, and flip-flops they must not let you on the course. There are no special motorized carts, or tee times, instead you're required to carry around some discs, a cooler full of beer, the makings for a good joint and a couple extra packs of smokes. The best part of the sport is that you don't even have to be a good Frisbee thrower to do well. You get a stroke deducted from your score for every beer you drink, and two for every bong hit. There is a two stroke deduction for hitting someone with a disc, and another if you get other park goers to yell at you for interrupting their activities. Hitting a parked car subtracts one, but if you hit a moving car it gets you two. You get to deduct five strokes if you bring a dog and let him run free, and there's a bonus five stroke deduction if he starts a fight with another dog or pees on someone else's property, but they add a stroke if the dog is current on his vaccinations.
The sport is such a hit, that our local parks department have dedicated 200 of the 230 acres of the park to the activity. They've put up steel cables up just a few feet from the road all through the park, and left the only parking places near the soccer fields and a the start of the three disc golf courses to discourage any of the other citizens from interfering with the play. I'm pretty sure they even signed an agreement that for every tree that's killed by urine, they'd add another hole.

Doctors, Drug dealers, Prostitutes, and Politicians...
I've been to the emergency room a couple times for various stitches and a fresh tetanus booster, but it's been a while since I went to a regular doctor. It's not that I'm afraid to go, it's that every time I go I feel like I'm at one of those time share conventions where they lock you in a little room for hours and you can't escape. At the end of the high pressure sales pitch, they charge you fifty bucks for a crappy dinner, hand you a sack full of brochures, and boot you out the door.
Inevitably, I have an appointment time for a physical, but I'm forced to sit in the waiting room with a bunch of sick people for an hour past my appointment time before they lock me in the little room. The whole time I'm in there, I'm thinking how great it would be if I were in a trade where you can create your own repeat business just by huddling all of your customers in a waiting room to infect one another. If the cell phone companies catch on to this, they'll make you pay your bill using your cell phone, and then put you on hold for a couple hours while you waited for some guy in India to take your credit card information, then charge you for the minutes you used trying to pay for the minutes you used last time. We Americans are just about dumb enough to fall for it too...
Really though, that wasn't the point I was trying to get to. If you go to the doctor for a sore back, he's probably going to take your blood pressure, look in your ears, down your throat, tap on your knees a little, and who knows what other kind of quackery, until he sees you're sufficiently worried enough about your wellbeing. Then the good doctor will tell you your blood pressure is a little high. Well no shit Sherlock, you needed a $500 machine to figure that out. I thought maybe when you looked in my ears you would have noticed the steam billowing out from spending the last two hours waiting on you to come in here. Where did you say you went to school?
OH, and then he doesn't know why you woke up one day and couldn't walk, but he's willing to prescribe you some pain pills so you won't notice that after 10 years going to school, he's still “practicing”. The same thing would happen if you came in with the a cold. Here's some antibiotics. Feeling down? Here's some UP pills. Feeling up? Here's some down pills. I still cant' figure out why it takes so long to be a doctor anyway? Is there a maximum passing golf score or something?
The point I'm trying to make is, do doctors ever fix the problem, or do they just pass out pills to cover up symptoms? If you take your car to the mechanic complaining of a funny noise, would you pay him if he handed you some earplugs? Hell no. Don't get me wrong, if I get shot or some oriental lady drives her car through my living room while I'm watching TV because she can't see over the steering wheel, by all means ship me to a hospital. Most of the time though your general practitioner is nothing more than a government sponsored drug dealer. The IRS gets their cut and they keep the masses from feeling. The health insurance industry shakes down our employers, adding to the cost of the goods we buy, but who cares as long as you can still get a script for E.D. through Al Gore's Internet?
Speaking of politicians, does anyone else find it ironic that the politicians who tell us abortion should be legal because women have the right to decide what happens to their bodies, are the same politicians who have made prostitution illegal. So much for women's rights huh??

In the news today....
On the CNN website right now they are running a poll, "who is more to blame for the impasse of the Iraq war funding bill, President Bush or Congressional Democrats". Now I know to some people, who to blame is the most important part of life. No one wants to be responsible for their actions, "the buck stops here" is a phrase extinct from this country. For a moment though let's put a little thought into this. The US government has three parts Executive, legislative, and Judicial. Basically, the legislative branch (congress) makes up bills, the president can sign them or veto them. The judicial branch is there to make sure the laws are not unconstitutional. So in this particular case, the Executive branch asked congress for some emergency money to fund the war (which they voted for). In the process it was clear that the President would veto any bill that had a withdraw clause in it. The congressional democrats put together a bill with the money for the war in it, a clause that stated a date of surrender, and 28 BILLION dollars worth of bribes to various representatives to get their vote on the bill. The President veto's the bill like he said he would, and now the media is working as hard as they can to divert our attention (I'll get back to this).
All the major media outlets have their reporters and staff busy pitting one side against the other: "Blame Bush" "Blame the Democrats" when what we should be looking at is how corrupt is our government that when one cause needs $100 billion that it costs $128 billion? I know loan sharks that give better rates than that. Who's paying the bill though? You and me, that's who. If Exxon made $28 billion profit in a couple months the Democrats would subpoena all their executives up to testify and call them on the carpet about gouging the American public. Now isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?
May day is also the day when we'll start paying taxes to Venezuela. (what?) Ya, on May day four of the major oil companies handed over 60% of their stake in Venezuela to the socialist dictator Chavez. (oh but how does that affect me up here, protected by the government in America?) Well let's go back to business 101, if the cost of doing business goes up, who pays the tab? The consumer, that's you and me in case you were having trouble keeping up with capitalism. That means by the time you cut out the middlemen in this deal, you and me will be paying what amounts to a tax to a Socialist government. Why isn't the American government doing something about it? Good question. Someone should have popped a cap in that guys ass when he was trotting around Harlem a couple years ago bad mouthing America, but no one thought of that because thats the same thing we all do.....
All the while the Mexican invasion is well underway, Los Angeles has fallen. It was all over the news yesterday, the invading criminals from Mexico are flying their flags in American cities all over this country. They are demanding welfare, food stamps, and health care. Guess what, they're getting those benefits already and you're paying the bill. Does the media call them "criminal invaders from Mexico"? Nope, they are "undocumented workers", do you realize that's the equivalent of calling rapists, non-consensual sex partners.
I heard a statistic the other day that more Americans are killed each year by illegal aliens in this country than have died in Iraq. While your elected officials have everyone in a huff over the Iraq funding veto (that they put forward, to get the veto, to stir up the news agencies, to divert your attention away from the war we aren't fighting right here in our own country) they've successfully diverted the American publics' attention away from the burglars sneaking in the back door. The rest of us are too busy watching "American Idol" (put on by a foreign country because no one pays attention) to care what Third world country we'll be ruled by in a couple years.
Did he just say that??
Yes I did.
A post a day...
The purpose of this blog is simple therapy. I need a way to clean up some of the clutter in my head without freaking out the people who allow me to call them friends. My goal is to cover at least one thing a day, but I'm not the most steady person so if I get a day or two behind, just hang on, it probably means I've been storing things up and am about to explode (remember the manic depressive part in the previous paragraph??).
If you're a vegetarian, democrat, anti-gun, tree hugging, global warming worshiping, tofu farting, hippie, don't get your panties in a wad, I dislike everyone else just as much. If you want to hang out inside my head, either take a shower and put on some deodorant, or stay downwind. I don't want to hear any whining about political correctness, about the less fortunate, or how someone hurt your feelings. Actually I don't want to hear anything about your feelings, I rather know about your thoughts, or at the very least, that you are capable of thinking, because after all, that is the goal, to make you think.
HELLO!!..... hello?.....
Funny thing I learned on the way in: the "free" blog costs you an hour of your life to sign up for. I guess my grandpa was right, nothing is free. ;)
