In the news today....

"By Kerstin Gehmlich

PARIS (Reuters) - Socialist opponent Segolene Royal said on Friday that France risks violence and brutality if her opponent right-winger Nicolas Sarkozy wins Sunday's presidential election."

Let's see, you're Segolene Royal and running for President of France. Your opponent Nicholas Sarkozy is beating you by 10 points in the polls, what do you do??

Segolene thought for a minute and came up with, "Well he is French, maybe if I threaten him, he'll surrender". Priceless...

Oh and she's knows it's a good bluff because the people she claims would riot if she didn't win, are the same Islamic youths who raped, burned, and pillaged the French suburbs unchecked for a large chunk of 2005. The same people the current French government was helpless to defend against because they were too entrenched in political correctness to identify the criminals as Islamic youths involved in terrorist acts.

Man am I glad John F'ing Kerry and his weirdo French sympathizer wife didn't win the Presidential election of 2004, they'd have us surrendering to Jamaica by now...

So back in America it seems that this election has rendered the left wingers in quite a Le Quandary. What ever will they do? So let's see. They've got a couple of options. Do they respond positively to this new French President's benevolent comments about America? Well, no. They can't do that. That would seem to prove that someone, somewhere, remotely LIKED America. Which in turn, would completely prove them wrong in all their glorious self/America hate. Option two would be to respond negatively to this conservative fellow's comments. That is an equally unappealing option. Why, you ask? Ah yes, then we would suddenly have a peek into the veracity of their mindsets. In other words, it would be far too much of an expose to actually admit that positive comments about America would be bad news for them. So hmmmm. . . option three. How about you just sorta kinda report it and then, hopefully, maybe, and with a pinch of luck from the mainstream media, it will all just neatly be swept under the rug.

C'est le vie.

Nail firmly struck. :)

Too bad the mainstream media will play right along. History has a tendency to repeat itself. Now that the socialists have been defeated and the French people have elected a President who is tough on crime and immigration, is it possible France will once again help America with a revolution? I would love to see the French people demand that their borders, language, and culture be defended at all costs. The first battleground might be in France, but I pray it spreads across the Atlantic.
